I ordered this fan because the wedding theme is black and gold and because the bridesmaids are wearing black, so I wanted a fan that would be more of a statement. The fan is very good quality paper - lightweight, not bulky, folds neatly if a bit more difficult compared to a cloth based fan. The backside does not have a covering and the pin holding the fan together is white plastic. That said, while it might not be fancy enough for the wedding photos, they are good quality fans.
I bought over 100 of these fans for a July outdoor wedding. They are not only well made but the colors are so brilliant. I purchased every color available! Quality and
delivery are a #10!
These fans are just what I needed. They look good, they're reasonably priced, they work well, andI have enough of them to place fans strategically everywhere around here where needed in our recent heat wave (now slightly abated) and still have some to give away.

This was a great buy as a wedding party favour. I was concerned with the risk of not seeing them in person before hand because some of the reviews made the quality seem bad but they were great, there are definitely poorer quality ones out there, so I am happy with how they arrived. They were all consistent in colour and construction.
I bought these right before the wedding because I was worried guests would overheat in our non-air conditioned venue in June. They arrived on time and were great! Quality was acceptable for the price. I did get a splinter from one of them (bummer on my wedding night), but that was probably because I was fidgeting with it. If I had had more time, I probably would have gotten the personalized ones, but these were great in a pinch.
The other reviews are correct - these fans are made of sturdy, quality paper. The fans opened easily without sticking, and I am really happy with my purchase!
The fans were lovely and much much sturdier than expected. They are for my daughte’s Wedding in July and I figured they would work for one event, however they are so well made they are definitely keepers! No fan and trash here- fan away! Thanks for prompt delivery and quality product at a fantastic price!
Every seat at my daughter’s August beach wedding had a fan & a parasol, & guests appreciated both. These fans are well-made & attractive, & the ivory color was perfect. I saved 2 just to keep I my purse for everyday use!

Ordered fans for a June wedding so I haven't actually used them extensively. Received the wrong color, but it close enough since these are for guests and not the wedding party. Fans fold out/in nicely (smoothly) and seem to be good quality.
