The surface of each vase features a beautiful maze of cracks, a sought-after characteristic of celadon glazes known as crackling. Most famous for their pale jade greens, the celadon family also emcompasses a wide spectrum of other colors. They can range from whites and greys to yellows and blues depending on the thickness of the applied glaze and the type of clay body used. Our multicolor glaze fades from caramel to lavender to light blue. Our white celadon has a very subtle green hue, while our celadon green is a very traditional jade color.
